Blitzen Booties Sewing Pattern – Fits Newborn To Adult Feet with video

You can keep everyone’s feet cozy with a pair of Blitzen Booties. This project is perfect for a beginner sewer as it’s a quick and easy sew. You can make lots of these for friends and family as they’ll make the perfect gift.
The Blitzen Booties can be made from your choice of cozy knit or woven fabric on the exterior and a variety of cozy fabrics for the lining including fleece, Minky, and fur. The Blitzen Booties are fully lined and fastened with a snap or Velcro. The pattern includes optional heel elastic to keep these booties on even the wiggliest of feet.
The pattern comes in 16 different sizes to fit feet that are 3″ to 11.5″ long. A size chart is included from babies all the way up to adults including US women’s size 11/12 and US men’s size 12/13.

What you will need to make a pair of Blitzen Booties
- Knit fabrics, quilting cotton, flannel, or fleece for the outer fabric
- Fleece, Minky, fur, sherpa, etc for the lining fabric
- Non-slip fabric, Toughtek, leather, etc for the outer sole fabric (optional)
- Puffy paint for non-slip soles if you are not using a separate outer sole fabric
- Lightweight fusible interfacing (optional) is recommended if you are using stretch fabrics for the outer and the lining
- Elastic for the heel (optional)
- Basic sewing supplies
- Sewing machine.
