Snap Wrap Dress FREE sewing pattern for a toddler

Are you always worrying that you won’t get the size of a dress that you are making just right? With the Snap Wrap Dress, you won’t have to worry anymore! The pattern is perfectly designed with a necktie, and there will be no more worrying about getting the strap length just right. The dress is true to its name, and it comes with a snap closure. You can easily get it on and off without a zipper. Many of us prefer to have our children’s clothes without a zipper, we’d rather just avoid them altogether if possible. With this FREE pattern, it’s possible, which means you won’t have a hard time dressing and undressing your little ones.

Recommended fabric:-

  • a double gauze,
  • lightweight fabric,
  • voile,
  • cotton lawn.

The creator of the pattern, Pretty Prudent, recommends that we shouldn’t use regular quilting weight cotton for this dress. It will make the dress a little stiffer and definitely more poufy and less flowy. But if that’s the look you want, we won’t judge!

Just securing the dress along the front bodice edge allows your little girl to be covered, and gives her the freedom to move. You can match the dress with a pair of leggings or a diaper cover underneath.
