Mary Jane Baby Shoes FREE sewing pattern (6-12mths)

This is the Mary Jane Baby Shoes FREE pdf sewing pattern that comes in the size 6 to 12 months from the designer The Cottage Mama.

When the designer designed the pattern for these wonderful baby shoes she was due to have her fourth child – a sweet baby girl. She was busy nesting and sewing a few things for her new little miss

So she came up with these Mary Jane Baby Shoes and produced a written tutorial and a pattern that she made available for you for FREE. The pattern is a simple, hand-drawn pattern.

As far as the fabric was concerned the designer used quilting cotton. The designer uses quilting cotton on almost every project that she works on. She comments that quilting cotton is so beautiful for clothing, accessories, home decor, baby items, and more! She chose a really girly print from Jennifer Paganelli’s line that you can find on Joann’s called “Jenny Eliza”.

What’s needed to make a pair of Mary Jane Baby Shoes:

The designer says that you can reduce the shoe size for a 3 – 6 month baby size by reducing the shoe sole all the way around and the exterior curve and back straight edge of the main shoe piece by 1/4″. Any additional sizing changes will need to be through trial and error.
