This simple small sling bag for kids is fast and easy to make. In fact, the designer says this small sling bag pattern is so easy that a beginner sewist could easily sew one together in an afternoon.

When the designer first made these lovely bags her daughters loved them so much that they were still using them three years later!
All you have to do now is to pick some great fabrics and get sewing. Or why not ask the little one that you are making the bag for what fabrics they would like you to sew up.
What’s needed to make the Small DIY Sling Bag:-
- Two fat quarters of fabric for the body and lining of the tote. You will need three fat quarters if you want to make a color blocked version of this bag,
- ¼ yard of fabric for the strap and accent on the bottom of the tote bag,
- Buttons or tassel for embellishment – optional,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
