This is a nice warm toddler jacket that is perfect for the colder months of the year.
It has six buttons on the front and comes in one size – approximately from 2 years old until 2.5 years old.
What’s needed to make a Toddler Jacket:-
- Fabric – 40″ (100 cm) by 32″ (80 cm),
- Batting / wadding – 40″ (100 cm) by 32″ (80 cm),
- Lining fabric – 40″ (100 cm) by 32″ (80 cm),
- Strip of fabric – 2″ (4.5 cm) by 120″ (300 cm) (bias tape),
- Six buttons – 4/5″ (2 cm),
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
Variations:
Instead of batting the fabric yourself it is also possible to buy quilted wadding instead. You can use the quilted wadding for the outside of the jacket or for the lining. The bias tape and the buttons can be chosen in a contrasting color.
