Roscoe boys sweatpants sewing pattern (sizes 2 -12)
|The Roscoe Pants are fun for your boys to wear and for the advanced beginner sewer are easy to make.
The Tutorial shows you how to make two versions of the boy’s fleece pants:
- The plain pant with contrast knee splices
- The contrast pocket and side stripe option.
The fit is super slim and modern with an elastic pull-on waist and a tie. There are deep front pockets and patch pockets on the back. The cuffs can be plain hemmed or with elastic inserted. Make them in contrasting colours with contrast topstitching as in the photo samples or simply make all in one colour. For a basic quick sew sweat pant eliminate the knee seam/splits and waist tie options from the pattern.
The pattern includes many sizes – 2 to 12 to fit children 2 to 12 years old.
Fleecy and sweatshirt fleece type fabrics are the most suitable to use. Other minimal stretch knits like Ponte and medium weight jerseys would also work. This pattern is not suitable for non-stretch fabrics.
