This is the Macy Pinafore Suspender Skirt pdf sewing pattern from the designer Jilly Atlanta. The pattern comes in sizes from 12-18 months to 12 years.
You can step into vintage modern with the Macy! It’s incredible with its deep hem and soft flutters. Choose the bib (with knotted or button ties) or buttoned suspenders; optional flutters, optional back bow, vintage length, or knee-length…however you style it you can’t go wrong!
For this project, the designer says it is perfect for confident beginner sewers.
The designer suggests for the fabric you should use woven fabrics like cotton, linen, lightweight flannel, lightweight denim, lightweight corduroy, and rayon.
The pattern comes in ELEVEN sizes as follows:-
The pdf pattern contains computer-drawn patterns – they are already full-sized and will print on your home computer. There’s a tutorial with instructions with pictures detailing each step and there are three YouTube videos for extra help. There’s a glossary of terms, a notions list, and lots of sewing tips. And finally, there is a size chart and fabric requirement both in imperial or metric.
This pattern contains the option to print layers!
Note these pattern pieces are also available in A0 format so you can have a print shop print them up on one piece of paper (33″ by 47) – there is no printing or taping at home. If you would like this option, just message the designer after purchase, and she’ll be happy to send it to you.
The designer says the Macy pairs very nicely with the Melbourne Romper, making it a great sibling set! You can see the Melbourne Romper HERE.
