Materials Needed:-

  • Knit fabric.
  • The designer suggests a medium weight jersey knit or stretchy french terry.

Amount Needed:-

  • 0.5 yards for sizes 0-3 months and 9-12 months,
  • 0.75 yards for 12-18 months and 18-24 months,
  • 1 yard for 2-3 years and 4-5 years,
  • 1.13 yards for 5-6 years.

For the bands, the designer used Rib-knit fabric. Light to medium weight depending on the main fabric. You will need 0.25 yards for all sizes.

Machines:-

  • Sewing machine
  • Overlock machine / Serger – If you don’t own one, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.

Size range:-

  • 0 – 6T.

Skill level:-

  • Beginner sewer.
