This is a Hugging Monkey pdf sewing pattern and tutorial from the designer Xanthe Patterns.
What a fabulous idea to make a monkey toy that hugs. Kids are going to absolutely love a toy that can put its arms all the way around them.
When you have finished making your very own Hugging Monkey it will measure approximately 19″ (48 cm) tall from the top of the head to the soles of its feet.
What’s needed to make a Hugging Monkey:
- The main fabric measuring 12″ (30 cm) by 44″ (112 cm),
- Light solid fabric measuring 6½” (16 cm) by 26″ (66 cm),
- 1″ snap tape (Velcro),
- Embroidery floss in red, black, brown,
- Polyfill for stuffing,
- Matching sewing thread,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
