Do you ever get too old for a cuddly toy? I really don’t think so. This toy whale plushie sewing pattern will delight kids (and adults) of any age. I admit I’d love one of these on display in my bathroom. Nautical is such a beautiful decor theme for a nursery and child’s bedroom and there is just something about the sea which calms us, makes us feel in tune with nature.
This beautiful whale soft toy can be carried by his tail or his fins, in the crook of the arm or even used as a pillow. He looks perfect for display or for snuggling.
The size of the finished whale is 30cm / 12″ inch. If you want to make a smaller whale, then just print the pattern out at a smaller percentage (80% 90% etc)
What materials are needed:-
- Soft fabric of your choice – try quilting cotton, fleece or felt,
- Stuffing,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- Sewing machine – optional, he can be hand sewn.
