The designer will show you how to make this lovely poofy bubble skirt in no time at all.
It’s a playful and fun skirt that is perfect for some playtime in the backyard, a trip to the park, or even dressy enough to wear to a birthday party.
The designer asks the question – are you worried about ironing?
The way this bubble skirt has been made by the designer with elastic actually helps to keep it poofy. The two layers aren’t just sitting on each other.
Also, when you pick out your fabric, the designer says you should give it the “squeeze test.” She actually squeezes the fabric as hard as she can in her hand about three times. This will show you if it wrinkles easily. If she sees wrinkles after the “squeeze test” she looks for another fabric that doesn’t wrinkle easily. That’s her scientific test and it works for her!
The designer recommends 100% cotton apparel fabrics that wash and dry easily and do not need ironing.
