Calico The Memory Bear sewing pattern

This is the Calico Signature Bear pdf sewing pattern from the super-talented designer Funky Friends Factory.

This teddy bear is button-jointed and looks really rather sweet with its cute smiley face! If you want a non-jointed bear you should try the Melody Memory Bear sewing pattern.

These Signature Bears are a fun way to record an event/celebration/special occasion like a new baby, christenings, weddings, parties, 21st birthdays, and, of course, graduations. A unique, homemade personalized bear will be a treasured keepsake for years to come.

When you have finished making your very own Calico Signature Bear it will measure approximately 12″ (30 cm) when sitting and 16″ (40 cm) when standing.

For the recommended fabrics the designer used muslin fabric (calico fabric) but Calico Bear doesn’t have to be a signature bear. LOTS of people use this pattern and sew lovely keepsakes using baby clothes or make memory bears as bereavement bears to remember loved ones. The Signature Bear can be also be made from fleece for a cuddlier version.
