This cute whimsical bubble skirt sewing pattern is so quick and simple to make you will want to make more than one. For this pattern, the bubble hem is formed by the difference in shape of the lining fabric and the main skirt fabric. That means no uncomfortable elastic around the legs! The elastic waistband is built in, not sewn on, which adds to its durability and lends a nice simplistic design to the skirt.
This pattern includes sizes 3 months – 6 years and can be completed in 1 -3 hours depending on your skill level. The lining uses less than 1/4 yd of fabric and would be perfect to bust some of your scraps.
What you will need:
- Main Fabric & Lining Fabric
- 1″ non roll or 3/4″ elastic.
