Blue whale soft toy sewing pattern

This sewing pattern designer has a number of really great patterns, but this one is a Best-Seller and we can see why. He’s totally charming, sophisticated, and could be loved by kids (and adults) of all ages. It’s a simple sewing pattern and tutorial for making a blue whale stuffed animal, but the results are something special.

There are a limited number of pieces, and he could even be sewn totally by hand if you like. There is the option to add on hand-stitched lines to his underside to give him extra texture, markings, and character. Or you could leave these off, or sew them on your machine too. Or perhaps pick a solid fabric for the top side, and a fun print for his tummy.

Any child would love to have this amazing sea creature as a toy to play with. The finished whale toy will measure approximately 28 cm (11″) long and 8 cm (3″) wide, but the pattern can be enlarged as needed, even on A3 paper if you want a bigger toy. Make your Blue Whale as big (or as tiny) as you like to suit the age of the child, or if you want to use him for display.
