Sewing pattern for Baby Kimono Shoes

Here’s a fabulous pattern for some really beautiful soft and sweet shoes for your little baby. It’s a pattern for Baby Kimono Shoes that the designer says “keep their shape very well”.

The pattern is perfect for beginner sewers as they are easy to make, as you don’t have to make separate linings for the shoes or have to add a closure.

The designer used cotton batik fabric for the outside of the sample shoes, however, if you like you can use denim, linen, flannel, etc. The designer used wool felt for the lining of the sample shoes, however, if you want you can use acrylic felt. A blanket stitch is embroidered around the top edges of the shoes. A diagram is included in the pattern for embroidering the blanket stitch.
