For this pattern, you should choose a natural fabric, ideally 100% cotton, for the comfort of your child. There are many types of cotton fabrics, in various colors, so you will not only provide comfort to your child but also be able to sew adorable and funny PJs.
For sewing this pattern you will need:
- Main fabric (body and sleeves), mid-weight knits or fleece
- Accent fabric (cuffs, feet and snap placket), mid-weight knits or fleece with at least 30% stretch
- Hammer-in or plastic resin snaps
- 1/8 yard stretch fusible interfacing
- 3/8 yard 1/4” elastic for stay-put ankles
- Non-slip fabric for soles (optional but recommended for walkers)
- Basic sewing supplies
- A sewing machine.
