Have you noticed that your little one is in need of a new pair of shorts? When the weather is hot we all can’t get enough of shorts! I don’t know about you, but my little one loves playing outside thus I need a new pair every day (or maybe even more often).
So here is a fabulous Simple Shorts sewing pattern from Allison of Freshly Completed that is totally FREE and very easy to sew! They are quick to sew, taking only about 45 minutes or less.
I think you will be most happy with how these shorts will turn out. They’re simple to make, functional, and will fit your little one just right.
Size of the pattern:-
This pattern is made for the lovely girl in the photos, who is a size petite 2 and a half.
For a bigger size, the designer says you can add a 1/4 inch on all sides. You can use a pair of her existing shorts to help.
You can either make these shorts with pockets or choose to skip the pockets. I personally love them with pockets, I think it’s both lovely and a practical feature.
Many thanks to the creator of this pattern for sharing it with us all for FREE! If you are short on shorts too, then get to work! Get your FREE pattern with a click on the button below, and start making some today.
Downloading this free pattern? Great! You would make our day if you ‘bought us a coffee’ to help with the site running costs. Thank you.
