This is the DIY Simple Fanny Pack FREE sewing pattern and tutorial from the designer Sewing Times. Also included is a FREE video tutorial.
This is a small fanny pack or waist bag for children.
The simple design with only one pocket makes it easy to make.
Sizing info:
When you have finished making your very own DIY Simple Fanny Pack it will measure approximately 10½″ (26.5 cm) wide by 5″ (12.5 cm) high by 2″ (5 cm) deep.

What is needed to make a DIY Simple Fanny Pack:-
- Outer layer fabric (quilting cotton),
- Lining fabric (quilting cotton),
- One 12″ (30 cm) zipper,
- Interfacing (Fusible Fleece – 987F Fusible Fleece or Vilene H630),
- One strip of 1″ (2.5 cm) wide webbing strap,
- A 1″ (2.5 cm buckle and Tri-Glide slide,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
Seam allowances are 3/8″ unless otherwise specified.
