Simple fabric moth and butterfly sewing pattern

Use this pattern when you have some spare time on your hands, and extra scrap fabric, and create some beautiful accessories.
This is an easy, soft sculpture sewing pattern/tutorial, for making simple textile moth and butterfly brooch pins or hanging ornaments. It’s a great fun way to up-cycle those scraps of fabric you’ve been saving for some special day and that day has come!
You can create perfect little presents for your friends and family. You can use them as ornaments hanging from ribbon on a tree, put them on a wall or wear them on your blouse/bag/jacket. There are many uses for these little fellas.
Skill level: beginner (basic hand and machine sewing skills recommended)

You can adjust the pattern to fit a size that you want, by simply modifying the templates (enlarge or reduce them). However, the center body should not be reduced by more than a third, as it will be difficult to make if you do.
