This is a great free sewing pattern from an awesome designer. Why not make this Koala and have a cute cuddle buddy? It’s a great sleeper and likes to sleep in its pocket with pillow.
This Koala has a large head with round fluffy ears, a large spoon-shaped nose, and a lovely little red heart.
Please note that the red scarf has only been made for decoration. It should be removed for safety if this lovely little Koala is made and given as a gift.
When you have finished making your own Koala it will be approximately 8½” (21.5cm) tall. And the finished pocket will be approximately 10¾” (27 cm) long.
What’s needed to make a Koala-La Plush Toy:-
- Main fabric for the body – Cuddle Fleece or any fabric,
- Contrast fabric for the ears, nose, and paws – Jersey, Rib knit or any fabric,
- Red fabric for the heart – Jersey, Rib knit or any fabric,
- Fabric for the Pocket with pillow and Sheet – Jersey, Rib knit or any fabric,
- Batting for the Pillow interlining,
- Only to decorate the gift (remove it for safety) – Fabric for the scarf – Jersey, Rib knit or any fabric.
