This sewing pattern is multi-sized and comes in girl’s sizes 2 to 14.
The designer recommends for the fabric that you use lightweight woven fabrics such as cotton and cotton blends. You should choose fabrics that are soft and drape well for the best effect.
What’s needed to make a Kimono Jacket:
- Fabric – Lightweight quilting cotton. It looks best in fabrics that drape and are not too stiff.
- Sizes 2 to 7 = 1 yard of fabric.
- Sizes 8 to 14 = 1 ¼ yards of fabric.
- Optional – Lace to decorate the bottom and the sleeves. Choose soft lace that won’t scratch.
- Basic sewing supplies.
- A sewing machine.
