Girls Skater Dress sewing pattern

This is a sewing pattern and tutorial for a girl’s dress and top in the size range of 3 months to 7 years. The Skater Dress is an easy beginner sewing project.

The Skater Dress has a slightly high low effect, which is optional. The front of the skirt has an above-the-knee length and the back of the skirt is covering the knees. You can choose to sew the dress shorter or longer. All you have to do is to cut both skirts to the preferred length.

You can also choose between long, short, and 3/4 sleeves. At the end of the tutorial, the designer has included a tip on how to finish the dress without sleeves.

A shorter skirt pattern is also included so you can sew it as a peplum top. The length is covering the belly as a normal top and the back is again a bit longer. You can choose of course only one length if you want to avoid the high low effect.
