It’s time to start getting ready for the summer and bring out the summer clothes. Summer weather has started popping up here and there, and we need to be prepared. Most kids love to play outside when the weather warms up and maybe since last year those shorts don’t fit anymore as kids can grow pretty fast. These are easy pull-on shorts that you can make with or without a drawstring. The creator of the pattern advises us that if we have any worries about the shorts coming untied when we’re not around our kid, we could choose to go with a full elastic waist. Materials you need for these shorts:

The creator of the pattern also says that all seams are 3/8 of an inch unless otherwise noted. The seam allowance is included in the pattern and doesn’t need to be added.
