FREE Bib sewing pattern (Newborn to 6 years)This is the FREE Bib sewing pattern from the designer Puperita.

These comfy lightly padded Bibs are a perfect sewing project for beginner level sewers using jersey and woven fabrics.

The fabulous designer gives you so many options and three beautiful designs in two sizes. The small size Bib is perfect for babies up to 2 year old while the large size Bib is for toddlers 3 to 6 years old. The cross stitch pattern is included too.

The Bibs can be sewn from scraps and, with a few inches, you can make lots and lots of them. For the outer fabric the designer says you should use cotton or cotton knit. And for the lining fabric you should use Terry cloth or cotton. And for the inner layer fabric (for Bibs with three layers) you should use cotton or flannel.

And so what is needed to make one of these Bibs? You’ll need for all sizes and all views ⅜ yard (0.35 meter) of any width fabric or a fat quarter. Thread. One snap size 20 (12.5 mm). And for the Bib with the piping 1 yard (1 meter) of ½” (12 mm) wide piping.

You can make these for your little ones or they make a lovely gift idea too.

The bibs have an optional inner layer, optional piping and optional pocket and bias all around.

There are four options of Bibs as follows:

  1. Bib with thick lining.
  2. Bib with thin lining.
  3. Bib with piping.
  4. Bib with pocket and bias.
