The designer says that this is a fun little sewing project that would be perfect for you little one’s Easter basket… some drawstring spring chicks. It’s great having something other than those plastic eggs to stash goodies in for your kid’s Easter basket.
This is a quick and easy sewing project. And it’s a really great scrap buster project if you’ve got any yellow or orange scraps lying around.
These drawstring chicks close with a little ribbon to keep all the goodies inside, and the ribbon gets tied up and doubles as a cute little hair bow!
These really are cute little guys, and you’ll be wanting to make more than one as they are quick and so easy and fun to make.
- Some yellow, orange, and black fabrics. The designers says that small scraps will work for this project, or you can pick up some fat quarters,
- 20” of ribbon,
- Heat ‘n bond ultra hold,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
