[UPDATE – sadly this pattern seems to be no longer available. We’ve searched all over the web, and it has been withdrawn from the titchy threads site and from the associated blog. How cool is this Little Kid Kimono Set?
The designer has produced this set in a free pattern but only in size 0-3 months.
The top and trousers come together as an adorable set but they can also be used separately. They are absolutely perfect for your own baby or to make for a gift. Comfy for baby as pyjamas but smart enough to wear during the day too.
The Kimono Set has the following features:
They are ideal as pyjamas
The top features gently curving raglan sleeves, ribbon ties and contrasting binding
The teeny tiny trousers have a baggy and relaxed fit
A shirred waist provides comfort for a range of waist sizes
The bum panel on the back gives a chance to mix in contrasting fabrics
With only a few seams to sew these are very quick to make.
This is a perfect project for a beginner sewer as only basic skills are required.
