Vintage Grace flutter dress and top pattern (6 months to 12 years)
|Here’s a sewing pattern for a very beautiful dress called the Vintage Grace Flutter Dress. We agree with the designer when she says “it is sure to be your new favorite sewing pattern!”
Flutter sleeves really do add a feminine touch to this classic looking dress, even more so if you add in the option for trim on the sleeves. Your little girl will love one or two or three of these staple dresses in her closet.
The pretty gathered skirt sits at the natural waistline. This lower waist gives a large space on the bodice, which is perfect for heat transfer designs, adding embroidery, or using large fabric prints that you want to show off.
The low-cut back gives this dress a delicate detail that offsets any unadorned front to the dress. Perfectly cool for warm summer days or running about activities.
The buttons and skirt placket make this dress very easy to slip on and off, making it not only easy to dress your little one, but it also avoids zippers which not everyone likes to sew.
The bodice is fully lined which makes for a beautiful finish inside and out. So lovely to wear with no exposed seams.
This pattern is absolutely perfect for a confident beginner sewer.
It comes in lots of sizes from 6 months to girls 12.
