Toddler Backpack FREE sewing pattern
|This is the Toddler Backpack FREE sewing pattern from the designer Indietutes.
This backpack pattern was one that the designer created a few years ago. The opening is just an overlap on the top of the front of the bag. You could add some Velcro to help keep it closed but the designer says it isn’t necessary. By not having any zippers or snaps, it’s very simple for a toddler to open and fill this backpack up.
This backpack is good for play and great for a daycare bag, where the child can get their own toys, cup, and diapers from their bag. Also, it doesn’t take long to make so your little one will have a cute backpack to wear in no time!
So pick some fabric that your little one will love and make them a backpack they’ll love as well.
This backpack uses about 3/4 of a meter or yard of woven fabric and 3/4 of a meter or yard of medium-weight fusible interfacing. This pattern uses a 1/4″ seam allowance.
