The Murielle Dress sewing pattern (Sizes 3-8)
This is the Murielle Dress sewing pattern from the designer The Freckled Pear.
This is an absolutely adorable drop waist dress with loads of great design choices.
The designer gives you lots of sleeve options. You can sew it with cap sleeves, short sleeves – or for the warmer months – the “flutter sleeve” or sleeveless versions are perfect.
And as far as the skirt is concerned you can choose from the tailored pleated skirt or the softer look of the gathered skirt or double-layer gathered skirt.
And in addition the designer gives you the option to add a Peter Pan collar which is always a fun option to have.
There’s a zipper in the back seam and the dress length comes to a little bit above the knee.
To be able to make all these options of dress the designer rates her project as suitable for intermediate sewers.
The pattern comes in SIX little girl sizes as follows:

- Size 4
- Size 5,
- Size 6,
- Size 7,
- Size 8.
The pattern includes detailed instructions with side by side illustrations that can be printed out. A detailed photo tutorial for a centered zipper application is also included in the download.
The file containing the pattern pieces and written instructions and illustrations can be printed on a home desktop printer using standard 8.5″ by 11″ or A4 paper. The file containing the color photo tutorial need not be printed, as you can just view it on your computer while sewing.
