Simple Shirt sewing pattern (Preemie to 12 years)
This designer, PeanutPatterns, has produced a simple sewing project for her “Ashton Tee” that you should be able to sew up in less than 30 minutes.
With this quick project, you only have to worry about sewing the side seams and the neckline. This Tee has a relaxed fit and raw finished hem, meaning your little ones don’t need to worry about popping stitches or discomfort. With a wider neckline, you also have a Tee that is easy to put on and take off. Also, you don’t need a serger, all you need is a sewing machine that can do a zig-zag and a straight stitch.
The designer has made her pattern in an amazing 16 different sizes, ranging from Preemie all the way up to 12 Years. Below is the Size Chart, where you can see all those 16 different sizes.
The designer recommends for her Ashton Tee that you use knit fabric (light to medium weight cotton), that can be interlock, jersey or double knit.
