Here’s your chance to make the perfect Rag Doll for one of your family or friends. You’re sure to have lots of fun making one of these cute Rag Dolls.
The designer has made another version of a little Rag Doll before that you can see here. However, this time she wanted to make a Rag Doll that was a little bigger and that had a more classic rag-doll look.
When you have finished making your very own Rag Doll it will measure approximately 18″ tall.
The designer has also helped you with this Rag Doll by having two different dress styles available in two tutorials as follows:
What’s needed to make a Rag Doll:
- 1/2 yard of fabric for the body. The designer says that Muslin is a great cheap option, but quilting cotton would work if you need a different color. 1/2 yard was almost enough for all three dolls,
- 1/4 yard fleece for the hair. The designer says that felt would work too, but it gets pills easier than fleece,
- Matching thread,
- Embroidery floss. The designer used black for the eyes and pink for the mouth,
- Stuffing,
- Basic sewing supplies.
