For the fabrics you can use knits for the basic waistband option, and knit or woven for the paper bag waist option.

- Jersey and french terry are the designers favorites for this pattern. Woven can be used for the paper bag option.
- A drawstring (optional),
- 1¼” or 2″ elastic,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
