This is a really sweet little romper with elastic gathered bottoms.
This project comes with variations for a ruffle strap and some fluffy ruffley bottoms. You can mix and match this one piece with all your baby’s favorite tops for infinite new outfits.

- 0-3 months,
- 3-6 months,
- 6-9 months,

- 12-18 months,

- 3-4 years,
- 4-5 years,
- 5-6 years.
The designer says for the best results, select a size based on your child’s measurements rather than their age. If your child is between sizes, decide which measurement is most important for the fit of the specific garment you’re making, and choose the size that fits your child best at that measurement.
What’s needed to make an Overall Playsuit:
- Fabric yardage – you’ll need between 0.75 and 1.5 yards depending on your fabric’s width and the size you select,
- 1 yard of 1/4″ wide elastic,
- A half yard of 1/2″ wide elastic,
- Four sets snaps or buttons,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
The designer recommends the following fabrics – light to medium-heavy weight woven fabrics such as quilting cotton, lighter canvases, lighter twills, corduroy, and washed linen.
You can print it out on normal 8.5 by 11 printer paper, tape it together, and make yourself this lovely garment. It comes with written instructions accompanied by lots of pictures.
