Kids Tote Bag FREE sewing pattern
|This is the Kids Tote Bag FREE sewing pattern from the designer Crazy Little Projects.
With this free pattern, you can make this easy Kid’s Tote Bag that your little one can use for trips to the library. Or I’m sure you can think of other great places to visit where your little ones can use the bag to keep all sorts of their stuff they like to carry with them.
This project is very easy to sew and something your kids will love carrying! This project is definitely something a beginner could tackle.
This project actually came as an idea from several of the designer’s readers who asked her to make a bag for their kids to take books to and from the library. As the designer said – this seemed like a perfect project for this time of year because she and her boys are always going to the library during the summer.
This bag is large enough to carry a nice pile of books and still be pretty easy for your little ones to carry without help from mum or dad.
And don’t forget you don’t just have to make one of these bags for your little ones. You can make others for friends or family or even one for yourself.
What’s needed to make a Kids Tote Bag:
- 2/3 yard of fabric,
- 2/3 yard of another fabric that coordinates with the first fabric,
- 2/3 yard of fusible fleece interfacing. This is optional but does make the bag much sturdier,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
