This is actually an update on the very first post that was ever posted to Crazy Little Projects. It’s been one of her most popular posts ever. She has always loved this bag and she is sure that you’ll love it too!
She wanted to update it with some new images and a slightly different way to make it. So this beginner sewing project that always turns out great has been brought back to life by the designer.
This is a Mini Messenger Bag that’s just perfect for kids to carry. It’s also a perfect project for them to sew if they and you want them to get into sewing bags. It’s a great small bag that is big enough to hold just a handful of things – keys, wallet, phone.
What’s needed to make a Kid’s Mini Messenger Bag:
- 1/3 yard fabric,
- 1/3 yard of a second fabric,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
If you choose to use a directional fabric for any of the two fabrics above then you will need 1/2 yard instead of 1/3 yard.
