This really is a lovely looking Kids Cardigan. The designer has made it available in lots of sizes, twelve, in fact, from 0 months to 6T. This is a very easy to sew digital pattern that is perfect for a confident beginner sewer.
The designer has made this cardigan perfectly cozy for the cooler months. You can button up the collar around the neck for warmth on those cooler days or fold it down on warmer days. You just gotta now find that perfect combination of colors, prints and buttons and start sewing.
What you will need to make a Kids Cardigan:-
- Knit fabric for the main body. Most medium weight knits will work. 3/4 of a yard for sizes to 18-24M, 1-yard for sizes 2-3T to 5-6T,
- Knit fabric for waistband and cuffs. Rib-knit or a stretchy medium-weight jersey will do. 3/4 of a yard for all sizes,
- Lightweight fusible interfacing for the button placket. 0.12 yards for all sizes,
- Five buttons,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine or an overlock machine / Serger.
