Kid’s Bell Bottoms sewing pattern (Newborn to 6T)
This is the Kid’s Bell Bottoms pdf sewing pattern from the designer Brindille and Twig.
The designer comments – who said bell bottoms were just for baby boomers? We believe babies should wear ‘em too! For crawlers or walkers, our bell bottom pattern was designed to add just enough “flare” to those chubby little legs.
This project is perfect for beginner sewers.
What’s needed to make a pair of Kid’s Bell-Bottoms:
- Knit fabric for legs. The designer suggests a medium-weight fabric. Amount needed –
- 0.5 yards for sizes 0-3 months to 9-12 months,

- Knit fabric for the waistband. Rib-knit or medium-weight stretchy jersey fabric. Amount needed 0.25 yards for all sizes,
- A sewing machine or an Overlock machine / Serger – If you don’t own one, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
