Heyday Dungarees (Overalls) sewing pattern (0-3mths to 12yrs)
This is the Heyday Dungarees (Overalls) pdf sewing pattern from the designer Waves and Wild.
The designer says her Heyday Dungarees pattern combines comfort with a funky sense of style.
This dungaree/overall has been designed as a relaxed fit and you don’t need to undo the tie straps in order to take the garment on and off. You can use button holes or loops to attach the tie straps and the designer has included five pockets on these dungarees which means you’ll have plenty of places to hide all your stuff. And these dungarees have been designed to be long and worn rolled at the ankle.
The designer rates her sewing project as suitable for intermediate sewers. The designer says the actual construction of the dungarees is very simple, but you need to be comfortable sewing through multiple layers of thick fabric.
An overlocker/serger will create the neatest finish, but all options can be made using a regular sewing machine.
This pattern comes in lots of sizes from 0-3 months all the way up to age 12. The measurements for all W&W patterns can be found here.
These Heyday Dungarees are designed for medium weight, soft, woven fabrics such as corduroy, denim, linen and twill.
When you purchase this pdf pattern there are four downloadable pdf files as follows:
- Instructions,
- A print-at-home pattern,
- A copy shop pattern,
- A projector pattern.
The print-at-home pattern can be printed on A4/legal/letter sized paper, while the copy shop file can be taken to a professional printer to print onto large sheets of paper. The projector file can be used to project the pattern straight onto your fabric.
And the pattern is created in layers meaning you can print just the layers (sizes) you need.
