Here’s a great FREE Girl’s Ruffle Dress sewing pattern and tutorial.
This talented designer made this blush pink dress for her daughter with blush pink crepe. It was the perfect drapey, soft fabric that the designer imagined for this dress. The designer warns against using a stiff quilting cotton, or a thicker fabric without a soft drape, as it will make the finished dress look more like a tent, and won’t hang softly like it needs to.
This A-line shaped dress helps give it some twirl factor and the ruffles on the sleeves and hem are the perfect detail added to the simple shape. The designer finished the dress off with a gold fabric covered button, but you could use whatever you’d like.
This free girl’s ruffle dress pattern is drafted for a 22″ chest measurement and 39-42″ height.
