The pattern and tutorial are from Silo & Sage and they are 100% free. So here is your chance with this free pattern to make some new play and sleep shorts.
The Summer Breeze Shorts is perfect for both! It’s a really quick sew, and it’s also great for upcycling old pants!
They were made for the designer’s boys who love to wear comfortable pants that they can move around in when they’re playing outside, like when they want to jump, play basketball, and climb trees.
These pants and shorts can double up as loungewear or pajamas, and although they were drafted for boys, you may find them appropriate for your girls as well. Silo & Sage says that in the picture, the black pair is upcycled from a pair of her husband’s old athletic pants (she reused the waistband and pockets) and the grey pair is made from sweatshirt fleece. They are made to be a little more relaxed fit, longer shorts.
You can read the tutorial instructions on the designer’s blog by clicking on the button below. To download the FREE copy of the Summer Breeze Shorts pattern you will need to join the Silo & Sage Facebook Group.
