Free Runaround Baby Romper sewing pattern (Size 12-18 months)
|
I guess that by the name of the pattern you can tell that it’s made especially for little kiddos that run around – a lot. If you have or know a little rascal that just can’t sit in one place, we recommend that you get ready to sew some Baby Rompers. You will need them – a lot! Plus with the summer here, we are all about easy clothes for our little ones. And rompers are just the ideal item! They are breezy on hot days and very easy to dress and undress. They are also very diaper change friendly. The legs snap apart for a fast and easy diaper change, and they also have lots of room for a runaround baby.
The awesome creator of this pattern, Cheryl of Sew Can Do, used soft binding for the tank-style top and loose stretchy knit style as fabric. That means that the little one can look pretty cool while keeping busy. After you finish making your first Runaround Romper, you will end up making a couple and wanting to make some more! They are that much fun to make!
The pattern is available for FREE in size 12-18 months. Cheryl advises that with a little bit of tailoring this pattern can be sized up or down a size to fit 6-12 months and 2T-3T as well, which is great news!
