FREE Raglan Dress sewing pattern (Newborn-2T)
This is the Raglan Dress sewing pattern that is FREE in sizes newborn to 2T.
This simple and easy to make dress closes with two snaps at the back, for size newborn through 2T, to make it easy to put the dress on.
When working with knits, the designer, small dreamfactory says it is important not to stretch or pull the fabric while sewing. Also, use a stretch needle and a stretch stitch. In this pattern, all seams are sewed with a twin needle unless indicated otherwise. Only the upper notches of the sleeve and the plackets are sewn with a straight stitch.
There are seven FREE pattern sizes, as follows:-
- US Newborn (EU size 56),
- US 3 months (EU size 62),
- US 6 months (EU size 68),
- US 9 months (EU size 74),
- US 12 months (EU size 80),
- US 18 months (EU size 86),
- US 2T (EU size 92).
The pattern also comes in sizes 3T all the way through to 15 years, and these can be bought in the designer’s shop.
To make this lovely dress you will need some knit fabric, two snaps, and some fusible interfacing.
