Got a new baby on the way or know someone who does? Here’s a FREE pattern for clothing for a new baby girl – just born to three months. It’s a pattern and tutorial to make a Box Pleat Baby Skirt. It’s such an easy pattern, basically rectangles that you shape with the center pleat. Little touches like the lace trim on the bottom and the ribbon bow make really nice features.
The designer had a scrap piece of corduroy sitting in her drawer for about 15 months. It is a very cute print and we can see why she chose that piece to make her lovely baby skirt.
Baby skirts are really easy to make, take up very little time, and require very small amounts of material. They are great beginner projects.
