Bluebell Reversible scallop hem skirt – FREE sewing pattern
|SORRY everyone, unfortunately, the blog for this designer has disappeared! However, we do have 100’s of other FREE patterns for kids if you click HERE.
What little girl wouldn’t like two skirts in one? The Bluebell Skirt comes with a FREE pattern and tutorial and is completely reversible.
This denim skirt also has a very cute scalloped hemline and although that adds a few technical issues to the pattern, the Bluebell Skirt is still a very easy sew.
The example shown here was made longer as the designer said: “we have a few cold months ahead”. It turned out to be her daughter’s favorite skirt. You can make this short and sassy, or longer length for warmth. Because it’s reversible and there are two layers of fabric, you can make this lightweight and lined, or thicker and warmer depending on your choice of fabric.
The tutorial for this skirt includes step by step directions for how and where to measure and how to make up the simple pattern based on measurements and how full you want the skirt to be.
What you will need to make the Bluebell Skirt
