The example shown here was made longer as the designer said: “we have a few cold months ahead”. It turned out to be her daughter’s favorite skirt. You can make this short and sassy, or longer length for warmth. Because it’s reversible and there are two layers of fabric, you can make this lightweight and lined, or thicker and warmer depending on your choice of fabric.

The tutorial for this skirt includes step by step directions for how and where to measure and how to make up the simple pattern based on measurements and how full you want the skirt to be.
