What’s needed to make a Baby Zip Suit:-
- Knit fabric: Light to medium weight jersey recommended,
- Ribbing fabric: similar weight to main fabric. Rib knit or stretchy jersey works well,
- Zipper for front. The designer recommends a zipper by the yard in size #3 or #5. You can also buy a zipper and trim the bottom to length. You will need zipper stops for the top if using a zipper by the yard,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine. An Overlock machine / Serger is useful but if you don’t own one, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
The pattern comes in TWELVE sizes as follows:-
