This post for the designer has been one of their most popular ever! And as the designer says it’s easy to see why everyone would be interested in it, harem pants are SO stinking cute on little ones!
She’s a huge fan of these Harem Pants and making a pair of these pants is so super easy. It takes the designer only half an hour to make a pair. And that’s including a little mess up on the cuffs (if you just follow her instructions, you won’t have this problem.
Unfortunately, the designer’s original patterns just weren’t working out for people. They were mostly spread out on too many pages and so the printing was really having a hard time being consistent among printers and it was hard for everyone to figure out just how they worked together! After receiving many questions regarding them, she decided to just re-do them all She came up with a pattern that is much more simple, though relatively the same. Now each pattern is basically constricted to two pages so there shouldn’t be any confusion about how to put it all together!.
The pattern comes in sizes from newborn to 4T all with photo instructions.
What is needed to make a pair of Baby and Toddler Harem Pants:-
- 1/4 to 1/2 a yard of fabric (the designer recommends Jersey or Organic Cotton Knit, something with a little stretch to it),
- Elastic,
- Matching thread,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
