The Margo Dress sewing pattern (Sizes 2-8)
This is the Margo Dress, an instant download PDF sewing pattern for girls.
The dress is knee-length with a gathered skirt, and buttons in the back. The neckline and sleeveless armholes are finished with facings. With the Margo Dress, you can also add a Peter Pan collar and pockets.
This is a perfect sewing experience for an intermediate sewer, and for the cute sleeves you have many options:-
- 3/4 sleeves with a sweet ruffle at the bottom,
- 3/4 sleeves with cuffs,
- basic 3/4 sleeves,
- short sleeves,
- or no sleeves.
The pattern comes in little girls’ sizes 2-8 so you can have fun making a unique look every season for years.
Suggested fabrics are lightweight woven fabrics, quilting weight cotton. For the lining, you can use lightweight woven fabric.
