Here’s the Suncadia Dress Free Pattern designed by Abby from Sew Much Ado. The free pattern comes in one size – 3T or chest measurement of 21″ ie. for an average 3-year-old.
What little girl wouldn’t want to wear this beautiful summer dress? Or even better make an extra one or two to keep your little princess happy and looking fantastic all summer long. It’s a super comfy dress which is just perfect for all those wonderful summer days.
The designer recommends you use wide knit fabric like apparel knit, with a good stretch recovery, and at least 40% stretch, whether it is lightweight or a heavier knit.
What you will need to make a Suncadia Girl’s Knit Dress:-
- 1 1/4yd of 54″ wide knit fabric like apparel knit (cotton jersey, cotton lycra, ponte de roma, etc) with good stretch recovery, and at least 40% stretch, whether it is lightweight or a heavier knit,
- 3/4yd of 1/4-3/8″ wide clear elastic (to add stability at the waistline).
