The Saylor’s Squared Bow Back Top & dress has such a fun and modern look as a top or dress. Saylor features an open squared back with side bows or large center bow, square cutout back with side bows, or simple square back. Each back is so different that it’s like three patterns all in one.
Saylor can be made with the sweetest sleeve tabs or sleeveless. The higher bodice is perfect for adding embellishments or monograms. Saylor also features a simple skirt with a deep hem or ruffle skirt. The top version only has a simple skirt option but the dress features both versions.
This is a beginner sewer pattern that comes in sizes 2T to 12 years.
The designer recommends using light-medium weight woven fabric.

This tutorial includes detailed step by step instructions and pictures to make all the variations that are listed. Pattern pieces are all computer drawn with the exception of square or rectangle pattern pieces. Those are listed in a cutting chart to save you paper & ink.
This pattern features layered pattern pieces. You can print all sizes or just the size you need. This pattern also features no trim pages. Simply overlap the pages, match up the lines, and tape.
