Boys Wallet FREE sewing tutorial
|This is the Boys Wallet FREE sewing tutorial from the designer Torie Jayne.
To make this fantastic Boys Wallet the designer used oilcloth fabric for the outer layer and a boat print fabric for the inside pockets. The oilcloth fabric makes it very hardwearing and splash proof too so it’s easy to wipe clean. Using a waterproof fabric makes this boys wallet sewing pattern ideal for all the scrapes and adventures boys seem to get themselves into.
The designer made this wallet for her eldest nephew and he absolutely loved it. He takes it everywhere with him. The designer’s sister was also really happy as she had been looking for a wallet to get him for Christmas but couldn’t find anything she liked.
This Boys Wallet turned out to be one of the designer’s most well-received handmade gifts that she had ever made.
What’s needed to make a Boys Wallet:
- ‘etoile’ star oilcloth in red, (or fabrics of your choice of course)
- Beach hut fabric,
- Royal blue polka dot bias binding,
- One nylon closed-end zip (12 cm, royal blue),
- One 12 cm sew-in hook and loop fastening tape (white, 15 mm wide).
